Full-time students at any Metroversity college or university can take up to two classes (up to 8 credit hours) as an undergraduate or one course (up to 4 credit hours) as a graduate student at another Metroversity school during the fall and spring semester. This is referred to as “cross-registration.” To register for a class at a different institution you must:
- Be a full-time student in good academic standing at your home school with an overall GPA of 2.00 or higher.
- Successfully completed a minimum of 12 hours at your home institution.
- Be a transfer student who has transfer credit to demonstrate good standing.
- Have met any prerequisites for the class(es) that you would like to take
- Fill out the Metroversity Registration Form and print 3 copies OR use the registration form available at your Registrar’s office.
- Have the form signed by your advisor and the registrar of your college.
- Take the registration form to the Registrar’s office of the school that you would like to visit.
- Pay tuition through your home school and at your home school tuition rate.
- Pay any additional charges like lab fees or special fees to the Bursar’s office at the school you are visiting.
Metroversity students are due all the student rights as well as the student responsibilities of the host college.
Metroversity students will go by the drop dates and withdrawal dates of their home institution.

Information about ONLINE COURSES
There is an additional fee of $250 for Southern Baptist online courses. This must be paid by the Metroversity student in addition to the tuition paid through the home institution.
Students wanting to take an online class through Jefferson Community and Technical College must make sure that the class is taught through JCTC and not one of the other KCTCS colleges.

Financial Aid Consumer Education (Section 668.43)
The Kentuckiana Metroversity,Inc. crossregistration consortium agreement allows students to take classes at other Metroversity campuses and pay tuition for those classes at their home school and at the home school rate. Students must be fulltime and can take up to 8 credit hours (4 credit hours graduate) at another school. The only compensation that the host school receives is for any additional fees attached to the class – for example, laboratory fees. These fees are paid directly to the host school by the student.
